Short description
Plotjack is a free papercraft storybook game. Swap the words on the page, and Mortimer the narrator has to read out whatever you leave him.
Long description
Plotjack is a storybook you are not supposed to touch. Mortimer Quill, a deeply professional narrator, reads each page exactly as written. Then you Jack In: play cards that swap nouns, change adjectives, rub out words, fudge numbers and recast whole characters. Mortimer sighs and retells the page with your changes as fact, the cut-paper pictures change to match, and the rest of the story has to live with what you did.
Book One is a fairy tale about a farm boy, a princess who is perfectly fine and a goose who should not be in charge of anything. Book Two is a hardboiled noir in which a private eye reports his own murder at two in the morning. Both are free in any browser.
